The first time that I can remember hearing about subliminal messages, I was about 9 or 10 years old. My dad took me downtown to visit my uncle, and as we rode up in the elevator, he said, “Do you hear that elevator music?
It has special messages hidden in it that will put thoughts into your mind.” And then when I was in high school, we would talk about the music played in Department stores and Malls.
In 1985, I was introduced to SCWL tapes. A friend came over with a Subliminal Tape, “Stop Procrastination,” and we put it in the tape player and pressed play.
When it was nearly over, my wife came into the room with a plate of brownies and said, “I was thinking of making these all day.” Then, when she found out that we were playing the “Stop Procrastination Tape,” she wanted to ban their use but has since become one of their strongest proponents and enjoys telling the story. After this, I was hooked on Subliminal Programs.
Another time, around 2004, I placed the setting and achieving positive goals in my player, pressed play and repeat, and just let it run in the family room. After about a week, my daughter came down from her room with a notebook and said she had started writing down all the things she wanted to do in life, and her younger sister said she was doing that too. Their rooms were right above the family room; they didn’t know that the CD or the program was playing, but the prompts prompted them to start setting the goals they wanted to achieve. This shows that subliminal programs work on everyone who hears them.
Soon afterward, I met an SCWL distributor who was retiring, and he sold me his entire inventory. Then, when eBay launched, I began selling online; in 2004, the website ‘SCWLSubliminalPrograms.com’ was launched, and we have been online ever since.
There have been several times when trials seemed almost too tough to take, and letting everything go seemed the best option. However, when I face these tough challenges, I remember a phrase that one of my coaches said
